EXCHANGE PROGRAM

RC Social Entrepreneurship Club organized an exchange
program between Robert College and Bilkent Erzurum Lab
School students on ​23-26 November 2016. We aimed to create opportunities for teenagers from different cities in Turkey to get to know each other and receive training on social entrepreneurship to gain Design Thinking Skills to solve social problems in their communities. Mentors from RC Social Entrepreneurship Club and Aybike Oğuz gave a three-day training; Ayşe Sabuncu shared her story of social entrepreneurship and social impact with 10 students from BELS and 15 students from Robert College so that these students could start social entrepreneurial initiatives in their
schools and work on projects bringing together the communities in Istanbul and Erzurum.

We were inspired to organize this Program by the help of the
experiences we had Global Social Entrepreneurship Summit
​that took place in American School of Bombay in February 2016.
